Ever fancied a painting holiday in the South of France?

Painting in Provence offers residential and day art tuition for everyone at all levels. There is also a gallery of fine art for sale and commissions are undertaken.

The courses are based at Mas Alto in Montauroux which is an idyllic village set in the French Riviera. This area has always been a favourite of many famous artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Monet, Van Gough and Cezanne. This can be attributed not only to the natural beauty of this part of the world but also to the great sunlight that we are blessed with here making colours vibrant and painting hours long.
Whatever level of expertise you have in painting, we have a course to suit you. We welcome absolute beginners, intermediate and advanced artists of all ages.

One to one tuition, and small group classes or art workshops are available. We are able to work with a range of mediums such as watercolours, oils, acrylics and pastels. You can even try your hand at sculpting.

For students who have non painting family or friends with them, we are able to provide stunning poolside apartments with large tennis and boules court. Nearby are excellent fishing lakes, prestigious golf courses and we are just over an hours drive from many skiing resorts. Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Saint Tropez and Italy are also within a similar driving distance.

The artist and tutor, Adrienne Behnam is a gifted artist. Studied at Glasgow Art school, Adrienne is able to provide art tuition to adults and children. Why not indulge in this relaxing hobby whilst here to either improve your existing talent or culture a new one? The workshops will be conducted with a sense of freedom to paint from the heart and have an atmosphere of fun to create spontaneity in your artwork.

Adrienne's paintings are for sale and commission work can be undertaken. Stuck for ideas about what to give that special someone for an anniversay or birthday present? What about a specially commissioned portrait of themselves, family members or thier favourite pet? You need not travel all the way to the South of France. A good standard picture either sent by email or post will be all Adrienne needs to work from. However, if you wish to travel here for a holiday, life portraits can be painted.
